Terms of service

These terms govern your use of hometomoved.com and the matching service offered through it, operated by SKAP Waste Management Pte Ltd, trading as HomeToMoved (“we”, “us”). By submitting an enquiry you accept these terms.
1. We are a matching service, not the service provider
HomeToMoved is a matching service. We connect households and businesses in Singapore with vetted, insured moving vendors. We do not carry out moves ourselves.
We do not own lorries, employ movers, or carry out any move, packing, disposal or relocation work. When you submit an enquiry, we pass your requirements to one or more independent moving vendors, who then contact you directly.
Any contract for a move is formed between you and the moving vendor you choose. We are not a party to it. The vendor sets its own price, terms, insurance and cancellation policy. Read them before you engage the vendor.
2. What we do and do not promise
We undertake to:
- Pass your enquiry only to vendors that have met the checks set out on our vendor standards page.
- Handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy.
- Correct information on this site that we find to be inaccurate.
We do not promise:
- That any vendor will quote, or quote within a particular time or price.
- That a quote you receive is the lowest available in the market.
- That a vendor will perform the job to a particular standard. Vetting reduces risk; it is not a guarantee of performance, and it is not a warranty by us of the vendor's work.
- That the site will be uninterrupted or error free.
3. Prices shown on this site
Price ranges published on this site are indicative market rates for moving services in Singapore, compiled from publicly available vendor pricing. They are not our prices, they are not quotes, and they are not binding on any vendor. The only price that binds anyone is the one in the quotation the vendor gives you.
All prices shown are in Singapore dollars and exclude GST. Whether GST is charged on your move depends on whether the matched vendor is GST-registered; this is stated on the quote you receive.
Access conditions, timing, volume and surcharges can move a real quote outside a published range. We update these figures periodically but do not warrant that they are current.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about your move. Understated volume or undisclosed access problems are the most common reason a quote changes on the day.
- Submit an enquiry only for yourself, or for someone who has authorised you to share their details.
- Deal directly with the vendor on scheduling, payment, claims and cancellation.
- Arrange any permit, lift booking or deposit your building requires. For condominiums this is between you and your MCST.
- Do not use the site to submit false enquiries, to scrape content, or to interfere with its operation.
5. Disputes with a vendor
Complaints about a move, including damage, delay, pricing and insurance claims, must be raised with the vendor, whose insurer handles claims. We are not liable for a vendor's acts or omissions.
We do want to hear about it. Tell us and we will look into whether the vendor should stay on our network. Removing a vendor is the remedy available to us; it is not compensation, and we cannot award any.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from a move performed by a vendor, from a vendor's failure to quote or perform, from reliance on indicative price ranges, or from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to S$100, reflecting that the matching service is provided to you at no charge.
7. Intellectual property
The content of this site, including the written guidance on services, pricing and individual towns, is ours and is protected by copyright. You may read, print and share it for your own use. You may not republish or resell it, in whole or in substantial part, without our written permission.
8. Changes and termination
We may amend these terms; the date above shows when they last changed. We may decline or stop passing on an enquiry, or withdraw access to the site, if these terms are breached.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
