What moving costs in Singapore
These are the ranges vendors charge in the Singapore market. We are a matching service, so these are not our prices, and the quote you receive comes from the mover.
Where these figures come from. They are compiled from moving rates published openly by Singapore operators, and they are indicative rather than quotes. Nothing here binds any vendor. Access conditions move a real quote more than anything else does — the floor you are on, whether the lift takes a sofa upright, how far the lorry can park from the lift lobby — so treat a range as a sanity check on a quote you have been given, not as a price you should expect.
Where we have no figure we can stand behind, we say so and leave it blank rather than printing a number that looks precise and is not.
All prices shown are in Singapore dollars and exclude GST. Whether GST is charged on your move depends on whether the matched vendor is GST-registered; this is stated on the quote you receive.
HDB Moving
Basis is one lorry load plus manpower, the standard Singapore pricing model for residential moves. Excludes GST. Excludes packing, disposal, piano or safe handling, and stair surcharges. Peak surcharges of roughly 10 to 25 percent apply at month end, weekends and in the weeks before Chinese New Year.

Condo Moving
Basis is one lorry load plus manpower. Condominium moves typically run 10 to 20 percent above an HDB move of the same volume because of restricted time windows, longer carry from the loading bay, and permit coordination. Excludes GST. Excludes the MCST deposit, which is refundable and paid by you directly.

Bungalow and good class bungalow moves are quoted individually and routinely exceed the top of this range.

Office Relocation
Priced per project after a site survey. The drivers are headcount, workstation count, IT volume, after-hours working and building access at both ends. Excludes GST. Offices above roughly 30 staff are quoted individually and we have no defensible published range for them.

Single Item Moving
Priced per item and subject to a minimum charge, because the vendor is committing a vehicle and a crew regardless of how small the job is. Excludes GST. Stair carry, long carry and lift restrictions are the main variables and should be disclosed when you ask for a quote.

Packing Services
Per-carton pricing is the common published basis, from around S$8 a box. We have no defensible upper bound for the per-carton rate and it needs a figure from our vendor network. Whole-home packing is more often quoted as an add-on to the move, and that figure is in the tiers below. Excludes GST.

Disposal and Moving
Priced by lorry volume taken away, not by item count, once you are past a handful of pieces. Excludes GST. This range is the disposal element only; the move itself is priced separately under HDB, condo or landed moving. Combining the two typically costs less than booking a separate disposal trip because there is no second callout, no second lorry and no second crew.

Most people want the number for their own flat rather than for a service. These break the same figures down by what you are actually moving out of, with the typical lorry size, crew and hours for each.
